Delete your Celeste account

You can permanently delete your Celeste account and all the personal data associated with it at any time, directly from inside the app or by contacting us. Account deletion is immediate, irreversible, and free of charge.

Method 1: from inside the Celeste app (fastest)

Open the Celeste app and tap You in the bottom tab bar.

Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap Delete my account permanently. If you want a copy of your data first, tap Download my data on that screen.

Type DELETE in the box to confirm.

Tap the red Delete my account permanently button. Your account is deleted immediately.

Method 2: by email

If you no longer have the app installed, send a deletion request to harimurtitechnologies@gmail.com and include the name on your profile, your date of birth and roughly when you started using Celeste, so we can find the account. Celeste accounts do not use an email login, so these details help us locate yours. We respond within 5 business days and confirm the deletion in writing.

What gets deleted

Your profile (name, sign, date of birth, optional birth time and city, goals, language)
Your Coach questions, daily check-ins, saved readings, card draws and quiz results
Your friends connections (removed for both sides) and friend synastry readings
Saved Kundli matches, transit notes, year ahead and journal patterns cards
Your streak, rewards and referral credits
All push-notification tokens and notification history
Your subscription records on our servers (the subscription itself is managed by Google Play or the App Store and must be cancelled separately, see below)
All analytics events, feedback and reports linked to your account
Your anonymous Firebase sign-in account
Everything Celeste stored on your device, including journal entries and reflections

⚠ Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your Celeste account does not cancel your auto-renewing Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Those are managed by Apple and Google and continue to bill you until you cancel them in the store account settings.

Cancel your subscription before deleting your account:

Android: Play Store app → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Celeste → Cancel subscription.
iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Celeste → Cancel Subscription.

Data we keep after deletion (and why)

Deletion from our servers happens straight away. A few records live outside our servers and follow the provider's own rules:

Purchase records: Google Play (or the App Store) and RevenueCat keep their own transaction records, which may be needed for tax and refunds. They contain an anonymous app ID, never your birth chart.
Analytics and crash data: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics keep data tied to an app instance ID, not your name, under Google's retention settings.
Backups: our encrypted database backups roll over automatically and are fully replaced within 14 days.
